Since time immemorial research and writting have gone hand in hand and were it not for the faithful scribes that followed their masters all over the place documenting the goings on of the day history would all but disappear. Granted there are some documents that may have questionable information but the literature and that went into the document is enough to keep most of us enthralled for hours on end think Shakespeare.
Text can either be in the form of structured information or haphazard thoughts within the creative genre that most of us have come to love.
As a profession it has been one to be envied and will continue to be at the fore front for as long as communication remains indispensable and from the milk carton to the manual on the space craft writting can not be over looked. An interesting aspect about writing is that small phrases and items included within the text make quite a difference. As an example, where a comma is placed within a sentence modifies it when it comes to interpretation by the people reading the material and any involved in its translation.
Writing has indeed come a long way from the papyrus scrolls of Egypt but so have the prose and research methods. If the modern language is anything to go by writing is set to grow in leaps and bounds as human beings continue expand their scope of existence and diversify their languages.
Without inquiries and writing most of us would not know about the bygone eras and the peoples that occupied the earth at these times yet writing is not a career for the faint-hearted, but for those strong enough to focus their thoughts long enough to accurately put them down on paper and communicate with those around them.
Great publications guys, well done.
